Nadejda TERLEȚKI. He did pedagogy with a lot of dedication and sacrifice. Between 1917-1925 she was the director of Primary School no. 5 in Chişinău (headquartered in the current house on Serghei Lazo str., 1) and many generations of children passed through her hands, enlightened by her pedagogical grace and exceptional spiritual culture. He participated in teachers' congresses in Russia, where he fully asserted himself through his gift of oratory and a vigorous publicist talent.

Alexandra Remencu

Alexandra REMENCU. She was a teacher, head of kindergarten (no. 17) in Chisinau. In 1929, at the suggestion of Florica Niţă, she was appointed director of the Orphelinat (later - Casa Copilului) in Chişinău. In 1940, Casa Copilului became a model orphanage for the whole country, visited by a special commission of the League of Nations (1938). The leader of the commission, Montessori, proposed that the experience of this orphanage be presented at a special congress, which took place in Rome (1938). The theses of the report, presented at the congress by Alexandra Remencu, were included in the final stage, as recommendations. In the same year, she was invited to the Vatican, where she was received by Pope Pius XI.

Eugenia Fistican

Eugenia PISTICAN. By the Decision of the INJ Council no. 1/3 of October 17, 2006, she was appointed, on a competitive basis, to the position of executive director of INJ for a period of 5 years, being seconded from the position of judge of the Supreme Court of Justice. For special merits in the activity of a magistrate, in 2008 he was awarded the state award "Civic Merit Medal", and in 2015 - the honorary title "Veteran of the judicial system".

Anastasia Pascari
Anastasia Pascari

Anastasia PASCARI (1947–2014). By the Decision of the INJ Council no. 16/4 of December 6, 2010, she was appointed, by competition, as the executive director of the INJ for a period of 5 years, starting on January 3, 2011. For special merits in the activity of a magistrate, she was awarded the state distinctions "Order of Labor Glory" and "Civic Merit Medal", also holding the honorary titles "Dean of the judicial authority", "Veteran of the judicial system" etc.

Diana Scobioala
Diana Scobioală

Diana SCOBIOALĂ. University professor, PhD in international law, author and co-author of over 80 scientific and methodological-didactic publications. He held two mandates as director of INJ (2015–2020; 2020–2021). In September 2021, she was elected by the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe as a judge of the European Court of Human Rights on behalf of the Republic of Moldova.

Catherine POPA. Conformable INJ Council Decision no. 16/8 from November 26, 2021 , performs the interim position of INJ Director starting from December 1, 2021, until the vacant position is filled.

Ramona Strugariu
Ramona-Victoria Strugariu

Ramona-Victoria STRUGRIAU. By INJ Council Decision no. 5/1 of February 14, 2025, was appointed as Director of the National Institute of Justice for a four-year term. He has over 20 years of experience in public policy and national and international program management. Former member of the European Parliament, becoming, in 2020, the second most influential MEP in terms of legislative activity.
