We invite you to register for the e-course "Standards of the European Committee for the Prevention of Torture and Inhuman or Degrading Treatment or Punishment (CPT)", provided on the CoE's HELP Platform.

Hours of training: 40 hours.

participant: 30 beneficiaries - judges, prosecutors, lawyers who provide legal assistance guaranteed by the state.

Course registration period: 3.02.2022 - 18.02.2022.

Active period of the course: 1.03.2022 - 30.04.2022.

Required equipment: computer (laptop), speakers or headphones, internet connection.

General description of the course: The aim of the Council of Europe HELP course is to familiarize the training beneficiaries with the essential standards of the CPT in the five most important places of deprivation of liberty: police stations, prisons, immigration detention centres, psychiatric units and social care centres. Topics are explored in a practical way through the use of presentations, interactive screens, quizzes and practical cases.

Test mode: mandatory testing.

certification The: Beneficiaries of the training will receive certificates certifying the passing of the course based on the result of the final testing.
