2026 Summer Session on Human Rights organized by the René Cassin Foundation in Strasbourg

The René Cassin Foundation – International Institute of Human Rights organizes, in Strasbourg, during the period June 29 – July 24, 2026, the 55th edition of the Summer Session, dedicated to the study and promotion of human rights.

The training program is aimed at people interested in the protection of fundamental rights, including students, teachers and researchers in the legal, political, human and social fields, national and international officials, professionals in the legal field, representatives of non-governmental organizations, as well as other specialists in various sectors of activity.

Summer Session 2026 is structured in three distinct modules:

  • the first module, held from June 29 to July 10, 2026, includes general courses dedicated to the spirit of resistance and human rights, complemented by thematic conferences;
  • the second module, organized between July 13 and 17, 2026, is devoted to international humanitarian law and is carried out in partnership with the International Committee of the Red Cross;
  • the third module, scheduled between July 20-24, 2026, is dedicated to international criminal law.

The courses will be held in the French, English and Spanish languages.
