Representatives of the councils of the law faculties of the University of Bucharest and the State University of Moldova, visiting the National Institute of Justice

In the afternoon of Friday, December 6, 2024, the National Institute of Justice was visited by the deans of the law faculties of the State University of Chisinau and the University of Bucharest - Sergiu Brînza, PhD, and Răzvan Dincă, PhD. Moldovan teachers and Romanian students were also part of the delegation.

During the meeting with the Interim Director of the INJ, Adrian Cerbu, the head of the Training and Research Directorate, Ecaterina Popa, and the head of the Legal Information Center, Tatiana Ciaglic, topics were addressed regarding the specific educational processes for the training of young lawyers, in particular future judges and prosecutors. The dialogue also concerned the good collaboration of the National Institute of Justice with the National Institute of Magistracy (INM) in Romania, considering Mr. Răzvan Dincă's membership of the Scientific Council of the INM. In this context, opportunities for inter-institutional cooperation and academic exchanges in areas of common interest were discussed.

The guests also toured the study spaces, which gave them an overview of the infrastructure and training methods. In one of the rooms, the delegation had the opportunity to observe a trial simulation, which highlighted the practical training of the candidates for the positions of judge and prosecutor.

The visit to the National Institute of Justice took place on the sidelines of the meeting of representatives of the Council of the Faculty of Law of the State University of Moldova and the Faculty of Law of the University of Bucharest, which is traditionally organized once a year.
