Members of the Association of Young Diplomats from the Republic of Moldova - a community that brings together pupils and students passionate about diplomacy, foreign affairs and international relations - visited the National Institute of Justice on Thursday, April 17, 2025.

The action offered the young people the opportunity to learn about the functioning of the National Institute of Justice, being familiar with the mission, role and fields of activity of the institution that prepares future judges and prosecutors. They also learned about the admissions procedure, the structure of the educational process and the pathways into the legal professions.

A special moment of the visit was the dialogue with the Director of the National Institute of Justice, Ramona Strugariu, who was asked a series of questions, including her professional career, the experiences gained at the level of European institutions, her vision of the INJ in the new mandate. The discussions extended to topics regarding the prospects of the Republic of Moldova joining the European Union, the importance of reforming the justice system, strengthening the rule of law, as well as the need to promote integrity and transparency in the exercise of public functions.

Through such initiatives, the National Institute of Justice reaffirms its commitment to supporting legal education and the civic involvement of young people, contributing to the formation of a new generation of informed, responsible professionals and dedicated to democratic values.
