Meeting with the representatives of the Institute for European Policies and Reforms

In order to outline the potential directions of cooperation, the Director of the National Institute of Justice, Ramona Strugariu, met, on Thursday, April 17, 2025, with the Executive Director of the Institute for European Policies and Reforms, Iulian Groza.

The dialogue held highlighted the desirability of developing a partnership for accessing European funds intended to strengthen the capacities of the National Institute of Justice. At the same time, they discussed the intensification of joint research activities, which will contribute to the strengthening of the research department of the INJ, thus providing the theoretical foundation for both consultancy and the improvement of judicial practices.

During the meeting, it was also agreed on the development of information and awareness activities regarding the complexity of the process of accession of the Republic of Moldova to the European Union. The possibility of organizing specialized training sessions in the field of digitization was also mentioned, thus responding to the current technological challenges in the judicial system.

The meeting was also attended by Tatiana Ciaglic, head of the Legal Information Center of the National Institute of Justice, and Ecaterina Popșoi, coordinator of the Rule of Law and Good Governance Program at the Institute for European Policies and Reforms.
