The National Institute of Justice starts the admission competition for the initial training 2023-2025

The National Institute of Justice starts the admission competition for initial training during the period October 2023 – April 2025: 30 places for candidates for the position of judge and 15 places for candidates for the position of prosecutor.

The competition can be entered by the person who meets the conditions for occupying the positions of judge and prosecutor provided by the Law on the status of the judge no. 544-XIII of 20.07.1995 and the Law on the Prosecutor's Office no. 3 of 25.02.2016, in particular:

  1. holds the citizenship of the Republic of Moldova and resides on its territory;
  2. has full exercise capacity;
  3. has a bachelor's degree in law or its equivalent;
  4. has a master's/master's degree in law or its equivalent;
  5. has no criminal record;
  6. enjoys an impeccable reputation;
  7. knows the Romanian language;
  8. is medically fit for the exercise of the function;
  9. does not have, in the last 5 years, in the file regarding professional integrity, entries regarding the negative result of the professional integrity test for violating the obligation provided for in art. 7 paragraph (2) letter. a) from the Law on the evaluation of institutional integrity no. 325 of 23.12.2013 (for persons who, until the submission of documents for the admission competition, worked in public entities that fall under the scope of the evaluation of institutional integrity).

Applications for registration to the competition are submitted online, in the Information System of the INJ, during the period July 3 - August 4, 2023.

The scanned version of the following documents is attached to the standard application:

  1. the identity card and, where appropriate, the marriage certificate;
  2. law degree and its supplement or equivalent;
  3. master's degree/master's degree in law and its supplement or equivalent;
  4. doctor of law degree (if any);
  5. the copy of the work card (as applicable) or the copy of the document attesting the seniority;
  6. the certificate of record detailed judicial;
  7. the declaration of wealth and personal interests for the previous fiscal year and the declaration of wealth and personal interests for the year in which the application for registration in the contest was submitted, in accordance with the model provided in annex no. 1 to Law no. 133/2016 on the declaration of wealth and personal interests.

The medical certificate regarding the state of health and the conclusions regarding compliance with the requirements for the exercise of the function is issued by the specialized Commission of the Ministry of Health, after passing the admission exams, and is submitted to the National Institute of Justice.

Participation in the Contest is allowed for persons holding bachelor's degrees in law, issued by higher education institutions in the Republic of Moldova. Persons holding bachelor's degrees in law from abroad present the certificate of recognition and equivalence of studies in the manner established by the Government of the Republic of Moldova.
