INJ beneficiaries can apply to the scholarship program offered by the Academy of European Law
INJ beneficiaries have the opportunity to apply to the scholarship program offered by the European Law Academy (ERA). The purpose of the program is to grant equal opportunities for all legal practitioners, both from member and candidate countries of the European Union, to participate in professional training in the field of European law.
Conditions of application:
- The target group for the scholarships are lawyers, judges, prosecutors, civil servants and other legal practitioners. Other professional groups, such as academics, will not normally receive grants.
- Scholarships do not apply to foreign language courses.
- Scholarships are awarded for a single event only, and applicants who have already received a scholarship will not be awarded another grant/subsidy.
- Applicants can only register for an event once they have received a decision on their scholarship application.
- Selected candidates will write a report on how they have used the scholarship in their work.
The scholarship may cover one or all of the following fees:
- participation fees;
- a contribution to travel expenses;
- accommodation during the event (accommodation arrangements for an ERA event in Trier will be made directly by ERA).

- scholarship questionnaire (HERE);
- Curriculum vitae;
- letter of motivation.
Deadline for submitting applications:
- 2 months before the event (for face-to-face events);
- 1 month before the event (for online events).
