Admission to training and passing the exam for persons applying for the position of judge or prosecutor based on length of service

The National Institute of Justice announces the admission to training and taking the exam for people applying for the position of judge or prosecutor based on seniority.

Candidates who meet the conditions set out in art. 6 of Law 544/1995 regarding the status of the judge and art. 20 of Law no. 3/2016 regarding the Prosecutor's Office.

In order to be admitted to the training, persons applying for the position of judge or prosecutor based on seniority will take an eliminative written test, which consists of two stages:

  • I stage – the psychological test;
  • II stage – grid test.

Registration for the elimination test is done by submitting the electronic file. The documents in the electronic file are signed by applying the electronic signature. The electronic file is entered into the Information System of the INJ and contains the application to participate in the elimination test, as well as the following documents:

a) copy of the identity document;

b) copy of the bachelor's degree in law and the diploma supplement, the copy of the master's degree in law and the diploma supplement or their equivalent;

c) the copy of the document certifying the length of service or the copy of the work card if the candidate has it;

d) detailed criminal record certificate;

e) the medical certificate issued by the specialized Commission of the Ministry of Health;

f) self-responsible declaration regarding non-political affiliation/non-engagement in activities of a political nature (annex no. 2);

g) the statement of wealth and personal interests for the previous fiscal year and for the year in which the application for entry into the contest was submitted, in accordance with the model provided in annex no. 1 to Law no. 133/2016 regarding the declaration of wealth and personal interests.

It is allowed to participate in the exam of people who hold bachelor's degrees in law and master's degrees in law issued by the higher educational institutions of the Republic of Moldova. Persons holding bachelor's degrees in law and master's degrees in law from abroad present the certificate of recognition and equivalence of studies issued in the manner established by the legislation.

Applications for registration to the elimination test are submitted online, in the INJ Information System, during the period September 8 – October 7, 2025, until 5:00 p.m.
