The conference of development partners for the digitization of justice was held
The Director of the National Institute of Justice, Ramona Strugariu, and the Head of the Training and Research Directorate, Ecaterina Popa, participated on Thursday, June 26, 2025, in the meeting of development partners, held under the theme "Development of the digital agenda in the field of justice through the lens of a balanced strategy regarding the requirements of integration into the European Union". The conference brought together delegates from key justice authorities, European bodies and international partners involved in the digital transformation of justice.
In her speech, Ramona Strugariu pointed out the priority aspects for adapting the judicial system to contemporary realities. Among them was the need for a digitally literate judiciary through training programs, equipping the National Institute of Justice with advanced technologies that would allow the National Institute of Justice to respond to the challenges encountered, including the organization of entrance or graduation exams according to updated standards, developing the system's resilience by empowering human resources and using artificial intelligence. The director of the INJ highlighted the beneficial potential of technologies when they are used properly, also mentioning the importance of specialists to train professionals in the legal field in this regard.
The meeting constituted a platform for discussions regarding the main achievements and obstacles in the justice sector, establishing strategic directions for future actions that would reconfirm the common commitment to fulfill the conditions for the accession of the Republic of Moldova to the European Union.
The event was organized under the auspices of the Ministry of Justice, with the support of the Swedish Embassy in the Republic of Moldova and the International Organization for Legislative Development.
